Privacy and cookies

Heliocite collects as little as possible. Analytics only runs if you say yes.

Who is responsible

Heliocite is run by Kubernetikos AB, which is responsible for the personal data described here. Questions or requests: privacy@heliocite.com.

Without your consent

The site is hosted on Firebase Hosting, a Google service. Like any web host, it has to process your IP address and basic request details (such as the page requested and your browser) to deliver pages. No cookies are set and no analytics run.

With your consent: Google Analytics

If you accept in the cookie banner, the site loads Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are read and how people find them. It records pages viewed, the referring site, approximate location (country or city), device and browser type, and basic interactions such as scrolling. Google Analytics 4 does not store IP addresses.

It sets two cookies:

`_ga`	Tells visits from the same browser apart. Expires after up to 2 years.
`_ga_<ID>`	Keeps track of the current session. Expires after up to 2 years.

The legal basis is your consent. Analytics data is kept for 2 months and is not used for advertising. Google may process it in the United States; Google LLC is certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

Changing your choice

You can change your choice at any time with Cookie settings at the bottom of every page. If you decline after accepting, the Analytics cookies are deleted.

Your rights

You can ask for access to, correction of or deletion of your personal data, and object to its processing, by contacting privacy@heliocite.com. You can also complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY).
